Zoe has just celebrated her 7th birthday with a day at school and dinner out at her favourite asian restaurant. She had a wonderful day, she loved everything she received and couldn’t be happier. We have a more detailed post about that coming up!
As for the post title…my sister-in-law Aunty K has been super super busy and sent money for Zoe’s birthday and seemed concerned that she hadn’t sent a gift. I got sidetracked and forgot to buy a gift on her behalf (like she asked me to) so…

I remember when my grandma stopped sending me money. She must have thought I grew up. I still make an effort to send one particular friend’s kids $5 or $10 on their birthdays (with much reminder…).
I’m sure your friend’s kids love knowing they will get money from you on their birthdays.
Hehe yep, but it takes one heck of a lot of reminding! I tell their mum “now remind me when it’s two weeks to go”…. and then keep having to be reminded!
