We have taken a break from games (memory and lucky dip) in our egg carton craft series and got right to the yummy part of Valentine’s Day with a Valentine Chocolate Box.
This was all we needed to make our special box of joy:-
We used one of the egg cartons Ebony painted in the first post of the series.
I invited Zoe to:
- decorate the lid with sparkly love heart stickers
- use the fabric hearts and the chocolates to fill the inside of the egg carton
Here’s how she went…
Yay, it’s so pretty! And pretty simple too
Time for the inside…
Chocolates next. We used heart-shaped ones of course. They fitted perfectly into the egg cavities and looked so snug and happy in there. Not for long my friends, not for long
Zoe decided to put chocolates on top of the first layer of fabric hearts and then tuck-in another layer of hearts.
All done! Now to find a lovely Valentine to share them with…
…Zoe!! Zoe thought she should try one out before sharing *just in case*.
A special sister Valentine was found. You won’t be surprised to hear that she was found very quickly
Zoe was very proud of her Valentine Chocolate Box and enjoyed offering her delicious chocolates to all of us. I expected the girls to love this activity as chocolate was involved however the extra pleasure they showed at offering kindness to each other was really special to witness.
Thanks so much for dropping by!

What a sweet way to celebrate together. The fabric hearts make it especially cute.
