It’s Christmas Eve already and we’re busy bees here today. We’re almost ready for tomorrow – a few last minute jobs to do, beds ready for guests, some presents to wrap, children to clean
Any time for kids craft? You would think not but the candy cane below is so quick, simple and delicious – the kids will love it. And it will keep them busy for a while!
What to use:Any red or white food. It all depends on if you are aiming for a healthy snack, a sweet treat or a mixture of both.
We used white marshmallows (you could use bananas or white chocolate) with red jelly, cherry tomatoes and red grapes. Strawberries and watermelon would be wonderful too.
I used a measuring teaspoon to try and get a round circle of jelly. Jelly didn’t really respond but the kids didn’t seem to care.
Here is the result before I let the children at it!
It was lots of fun and so easy to do.
We have one last activity to do that I will be blogging about. A centrepiece for our Christmas table. We have to finish it today!
I hope you are all enjoying the countdown to Christmas with your excited little ones.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
